Hi, I'm Justus. I started Velvoria at 19, alongside finishing school in northern Germany, because I wanted to build something of my own.

Some of my favorite evenings are the simple ones: friends and family around one table, good food, a candle burning, nobody in a hurry to leave. Velvoria is built around those moments.

I work with small, independent makers across the United States (woodworkers, candle makers and artisans) and choose pieces that make hosting feel easy and a little special: boards and bowls that get passed around the table, candles that set the mood, and gifts you'd actually want to bring to someone's home.
